Zak Brown is an important person in Formula One now. He is changing the way people think about racing teams, like McLaren. As the boss of McLaren Racing Zak Brown has done a job of turning things around. The team was not doing well for a time but now they are getting better and making more money. They are also doing a job on the track, which is what really matters in racing. Zak Brown has really helped McLaren become a team again in a time when there is a lot of competition and money involved in Formula One.

Brown was put in charge of McLaren Racing in 2016. The team was having a lot of problems. They were not doing well in races. There were also issues inside the team and sponsors were losing faith.

Brown used his experience in motorsport marketing to help the team. He started by fixing the business problems at McLaren.

He worked hard to get sponsors for the team. These sponsors were names from all, around the world. Brown also found ways for McLaren to make money. They did not just rely on the Formula One income.

This plan helped McLaren to invest in people, better equipment and long term success. They did not just look for solutions. McLaren was able to focus on doing in the future. Brown and McLaren Racing were able to make these changes because of his plan.

McLaren had a change when Brown was in charge. Brown made sure that people at McLaren were responsible for what they did. He wanted people to work together and be honest with each other. This helped people at McLaren trust each other again. Brown picked the people for important jobs like the people who fix the cars and the people who make sure everything runs smoothly. This made McLaren stronger from the inside. Brown was also okay with making technical decisions like changing who they got their engines from. Sometimes these decisions were a little risky, in the term.. In the end these decisions helped McLaren make progress that would last instead of just fixing things for a little while and then having to fix them again.

On the sporting side McLaren Racing is doing really again. They are getting on the podium a lot winning races and doing great in the constructors standings. This shows that McLaren Racing is a team again. The way Brown leads the team is very good. He is calm. Also makes sure everyone knows what to do. This helps the engineers and drivers do their job without feeling much stress. It is an environment for McLaren Racing to try new things and feel confident. McLaren Racing is getting back, to where they want to be.

McLaren is more than Formula One to Brown. He wants McLaren to be a name in all kinds of racing. So he helped McLaren get into different racing series. This made McLaren a bigger deal around the world and got more fans excited. Brown is also good at talking to the media. He says what he thinks about important issues in the sport like how much teams should spend and who should be in charge. This is why people, in the Formula One world think he is a guy and they listen to what he has to say about Formula One.

As of 2026, Zak Brown stands as a case study in modern sports leadership: commercially sharp, strategically patient, and culturally focused. His tenure at McLaren Racing demonstrates that elite performance in Formula One is built not only on speed and technology, but on vision, stability, and smart leadership. With Brown at the helm, McLaren’s revival is no longer a comeback story—it is a blueprint for long-term success.
